As a parent, don't judge your relationship with your child based on one difficult phase.

Teenage distance isn't the end of your bond. It's often a part of growing up.

Your child may question you today. They may resist your advice today. They may even choose silence today.

But if you continue to offer love, trust, and emotional safety, there often comes a day when they finally understand everything you were trying to protect them from.
