Namaskaaram to all art lovers .. I am uma tapasyananda ...a lover of Mohiniattom..which has been my life..my sanity..my salvation ..and my refuge from the chaos of existence...
It is now nearing thirty eventful years since I have entered the world of Mohiniattom..there was so much uncertainty.. insecurities.. doubt... regarding the essence of this magical danceform..so many questions..so much more to be learnt...so many Gurus..so many colleagues..co artists.. audience..have helped build up a lovely vision..and I want to share the answers found.. doubts still remaining..as well as the vast onstage experiments carried out through the years...
I am confident sharing my experience will help me and all those who are in love with dance...so am starting an online kalari .. beginning with the basics ..and going on to presentation theories gradually..
I invite all rasikas and students of Mohiniattom to be a part of the Mukthi Mohiniattakkalari....
Will be starting the sessions on 17th May 2020...
Looking forward to growing together..
