He has performed at the Common Wealth Games held in Melbourne, Australia in 2006. He has even made it big by being a part of famous Bollywood nights such as IIFA, Stardust and The Filmfare. He has also choreographed events such as IPL and ONGC Cup finals in D.Y.Patil stadium. Nikhil Anand’s incredible ability to deliver exceptional performances has established him on a national level. This is what Nikhil Anand has to say, “When I tread on the path of making my passion a profession, my aim was to help people heal through dance, move to the music of their soul and disconnect from their worries. Being a teacher I understood the responsibility of developing and inculcating complete knowledge in each of my students in order that they become wholesome teachers themselves in the near future. My intention from the inception of the dance school has been clear and it is this belief that has urged people into taking the movement forward.”

Nikhil Anand started a dance company that was first of its kind. It teaches several styles of dance like hip-hop, salsa, Bollywood, afro-jazz, rock n roll, krumping, belly dance, b-boying and contemporary. Elevate Dance Institute (EDI) was formalized in 2008. Since then, it has strived to enable its students achieve excellence. The institute inhabits a creative and professional atmosphere for dance enthusiasts. We offer training for anyone who is interested in gaining excellence in the rhythm of life. We have eventually divided batches into age groups and that is how the training gradually goes better. We at EDI train the dancers to realize their dreams and potentials through dancing. We instill not only flexibility, strength, expression, excellence, movement, diversity but also love and respect towards the art and life. The dance courses are formulated to enable the children to explore, experiment and learn in the vast world of dance. We at EDI work on the student’s potential and search every single one of them uniting them under the one single love of rhythm of life, dance. Student’s at elevate are given a chance to see the reel world. They are taken to the sets of reality TV shows and even encourage, help and support them to be significant characters on television. Besides that, EDI also renders financial aid to the deserving students in the form of fee waivers. It has also provided employment to a number of bright students and they have been doing well in their respective fields of work. ABOUT ELECTRA
EDI gives its students a platform every summer and winter to showcase their talent in our show called Electra. Electra is an extraordinary and unique platform given to the students of elevate to showcase their talent to the world. The best part about being a part of Elevate gets even better when everyone gears up for the preparation of Electra. Electra helps our students to fight their stage fear and give their best on the platform we provide. All the students who perform in Electra get felicitated at the end of the show with awards, certificates and medals. Students who aim to better themselves and learn Dance in a more serious vein are the perfect candidates for the ASPB. Navi Mumbai nowadays has as its prime focus 'dance education'. 'Spreading the joy of dance' is the axis that spins the elevate wheel! However, dance not just as a stop-gap pass time but as an 'education' is what the ELEVATE is all about. 'Dance Education' is universal, the old, the young, the creatively inclined or the hard-core business clinchers, the home makers or the career-oriented, students or teachers - all are potential candidates of the ELEVATE DANCE INSTITUTE!
