Welcome to our Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy page! We hope that this page will fulfill your desire to learn more about it. We promise the sport fans will know all about Taekwondo contests regulations after visiting our class. We tried to introduce you to the basic sparring moments so that you could enjoy the real beauty of the performance. We have given an introduction of Taekwondo to those who are

deeply interested in it. All of you, who want to touch the martial arts world for the first time, go on - have fun! Taekwondo is a modern martial art with Korean origin. It was developed as a self-defense system characterized by extremely high kicks. All Taekwondo techniques and movements are worked out according to the bio-mechanical principles of human limbs - to be used most effectively. "Tae" means "Foot," "Leg," or "to Step on"; "Kwon" means "Fist," or "Fight"; and "Do" means the "Way" or "Discipline.". So, Taekwondo is "The art of the Kick and the Punch", but Taekwondo means also "the Way" to physical and moral self-perfection. In the process of practicing Taekwondo Learner finds out that it is a way of living as well. That refers to more of the martial arts, too. In Taekwondo except the kicks (which are really the prime part of the system) are studied also punches, hand blocks, catches, throwing. In its program are included, of course, basic technique knowledge, sparring, forms (patterns), self-defense and others. Taekwondo is an extremely attractive sport with impressive kicks. That's why it becomes more and more popular. Now there are more than 30 million practitioners registered officially in WTF. After its demonstrative participation in the Olympic Games in 1988 in Seoul and 1992 in Barcelona, Taekwondo WTF has become an Olympic sport included in the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympic Games. What does the Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy do? The Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy provides students of all experience levels an opportunity to learn and improve their skills and to grow as martial artists. By being a part of the club, members have the following opportunities:
All Ages, All ranks. Teens and adults with their children may attend. In this class adults and children learn to respect and even admire one another for their own unique talents and abilities. It’s a disciplined, energetic and full body workout, as students learn effective Tae Kwon Do techniques. Like our other Tae Kwon Do classes, this one fosters a pursuit for excellence in a safe and nurturing environment. Come join in the fun–together! The Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy Classes and workouts are held 2 times per week and are a great way to stay fit in a fun, safe environment. Meet new people. The Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy members grow closer through the shared experience of learning and overcoming new challenges. Learn Olympic-Style sparring. Students can learn about and participate in full-contact Olympic-style sparring. Travel to competitions. The Achiever`s Taekwondo Academy compete against students from other Academy’s from Thane District and Raigad District.
