Rules
- The matches will be 7-a-side, however a team needs to have a minimum of 5 players on the pitch in order to start the match.
- Matches will be officiated by professional referees and all the teams will have to abide by the referees’ decision. Any kind of misbehavior will lead to disqualification of the team.
- The matches will be played in accordance with all the FIFA rules EXCEPT the offside rule.
- The penalty regarding the cards (Yellow and Red ) would be the same as prescribed by FIFA.
- Each half will be of the duration of 10 minutes with a 2-minute break in between.
- Refreshments will be provided to all the teams after the match.
- The players are advised to bring the complete kit including shin pads. The organizers will not be responsible for any injury during the game. However, we will have basic first-aid available at the venue.
- All the teams need to report at least 15 minutes prior to kick off.
- If a team fails to report after a maximum of 10 minutes beyond their scheduled match time, the team will be disqualified and the other team will be awarded a walk-over. The registration money will not be refunded in case the team does not turn up at the assigned time.
- A clash of jersey colors will lead to a toss. Teams are advised to carry 2 sets of jerseys having two different colors.
- The tournament shall be rescheduled in case the weather conditions are not favorable. However, no money shall be refunded in case the event is rescheduled. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event or reschedule the event. In case the event is cancelled the money received from each team shall be refunded.
