On 12th October 2025, the closing ceremony of the 18th Delhi State Thang-Ta Championship 2025 was organized by the Delhi Thang-Ta Association at Kant Darshan Public School, Nangli Sakrawati, Najafgarh, as part of the Saansad Khel Mahotsav 2025 ,under the leadership of West Delhi Member of Parliament Mrs. Kamaljeet Sehrawat ,

The event was graced by the presence of District President Mrs. Raj Sharma , Najafgarh MLA Mrs. Neelam Shokeen , and Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee, MCD & Councillor of Najafgarh Ward Mr. Amit Kharkhari and Vice President of Delhi Thang-Ta Association.

Thang-Ta is a traditional martial art of India, and this championship was successfully organized under the guidance of Mr. Naveen Kataria, General Secretary of the Delhi Thang-Ta Association.

On 11th October 2025, under the leadership of West Delhi Member of Parliament Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the Delhi Thang-Ta Association inaugurated the 18th Delhi State Thang-Ta Championship under the Saansad Khel Mahotsav 2025.

On this occasion, Zone Chairman Savita Pawan Sharma and State Youth Morcha Minister Shri Mukul Dagar and District Youth President Shri Monu Chaudhary were present as chief guests.

The championship was inaugurated at Kant Darshan Public School, Nangli Sakrawati, Najafgarh, New Delhi, where players participated with great enthusiasm.

Thang-Ta is a traditional martial art of India that originated from Manipur.
The entire event was successfully organized and conducted under the supervision of
Shri Naveen Kataria,
General Secretary of the Delhi Thang-Ta Association.
