The sports club of IIMN and the community outreach club of IIMN organized International Yoga Day at campus on 21st June 2022.

Ms Simran Garewal, a yoga instructor with international certification, was invited to share her expertise and yoga practices.
Director Sir, faculty, staff, and IIM Nagpur students performed yoga and attended an insightful session on adopting yoga as a lifestyle from Ms Garewal.

India secures the 3rd place and win the bronze medal in Asia Cup Men's Hockey 2022. A big achievement for a very young Indian side. 🙌🏻🥉🏑🇮🇳

The major highlight of the series was of India beating Indonesia 16-0 and qualifying for the Super 4s along with Japan, S. Korea & Malaysia.
India lost against Japan previously and needed to win the match against Indonesia by 15 goals or more and India did just that. That win knocked Pakistan out from and the FIH World cup 2023.
Highlights from the historic match:
Pawan Rajbhar opened the scoreboard for the Indian team by scoring the first two goals in the first quarter.
Dipsan Tirkey was the top scorer for India with 4 goals followed by Sudev Belimagga’s hattrick!!!

Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals to win their maiden IPL title in debut season. Hardik Pandya led with impressive all round performances throughout the tournament.
The fact that the win came at their home stadium in Ahmedabad in front of a record highest ever attendance in the history of white ball cricket made it even more special. 1,04,859 was the official attendance at the Narendra Modi stadium for the final.

Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal of Rajasthan Royals won the orange cap and purple cap respectively.

The Indian men's badminton team created history on winning the Thomas Cup for the first time ever. India defeated defending and 14 time champions Indonesia 3-0 in the finals. Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth won their respective single matches while Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty won their doubles match. Interestingly, all the Indian players defeated higher ranked opponents in their respective matches 🏸🥇🏆🇮🇳🔥

Do not handicap your children by making their lives easy - Robert A. Heinlein

Vedaant Madhavan, son of actor R Madhavan bagged gold medal in men's 800M freestyle swimming at Danish Open. Vedant achieved this feat in 15.57.86 minutes. Vedaant also won silver at 1500M freestyle swimming at the same Open.

Sajan Prakash won the men's 200M butterfly swimming in the same tournament. The swimmer from Kerela stopped the clock at 1.59.27 minutes to bag the gold.

We are glad to share that Walkathon 2022, as part of the Government of India's Fit India Movement, witnessed great involvement and enthusiastic participation from the students of IIM Nagpur. The event took place on the 20th of March inside the IIM Nagpur campus. The participants covered a distance of about 1.5 kilometers during the event. This was held to encourage individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles and incorporate physical activity into their daily life.
