A Little Help. A Lot of Hope. 🤍
When floods recede, the struggle doesn’t end. Families still need clean surroundings, medicines, protection from mosquitoes, basic hygiene products and everyday essentials to begin rebuilding their lives.
From 7th to 9th August 2026, XUBAX organised a flood relief drive to support families affected by the floods. With the generous support of our donors, we raised around ₹42,000 and reached 150+ families with essential supplies.
The relief materials included
medicines for water-related infections, phenyl,
bleaching powder,
floor-cleaning mops,
detergent,
Dettol,
mosquito repellents and nets,
torches and batteries,
slippers for men,
women and children,
clothes
other essential items.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated money, clothes, time and resources to make this possible.
Special thanks to the Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon, and DTO Nagaon for providing a vehicle for transporting the relief materials, and to Mr. J. Hazarika, Enforcement Officer, DTO Sivasagar, and his team for their valuable support.
Our heartfelt thanks to the villagers who helped us with boats, local information and guidance, and to every volunteer who stood with us throughout the drive.
This was more than a relief effort. It was a reminder that when a community comes together, small acts of kindness can bring real hope to those who need it most.
