Join us for the Inaugural Mysore International Yoga Festival in the beautiful heritage city of Mysore, South india, and experience the inspiring wisdom of renowned yoga teachers, uplifting kirtan, indian music and dance performances and more. This ‘City of Palaces’ is often credited as the birthplace of modern yoga. Krishnamacharya taught yoga here under the patronage of Maharaja Krishna Raja Wadi

Mysore, with its wide tree-lined boulevards, heritage buildings, distinguished universities, serene lakes, and temperate climate is India’s second cleanest city. During the 4 day Yoga Festival, participants will have the opportunity to join in over 60 hours of classes, to practise and learn with world-renowned yoga masters, as well as eminent teachers of meditation, pranayama and philosophy. Yoga Institutes including KPJAYI Mysore, BKS Iyengar Institute Pune, KYM Krishna Macharya Yoga Mandalam Chennai, Kaivalyadham Lonavala, Venkatesh Mysore and Yoga Indea Mysore, Sivananda, Isha Foundation, Osho, Art of Living have been invited to participate. The inaugural Mysore International Yoga Festival is a unique event bringing together Indian yoga masters, honouring Sri T. Krishnamacharya and celebrating the richness of Indian culture. The festival will be held in the spectacular Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel, a stone's throw from Mysore city centre. This prestigious stunning 5 star heritage property, occupies a unique location in the shadow of Chamundi Hills, a sacred Hindu site filled with temples. The hotel offers 3 stages for yoga sessions, and performances, as well as opulent old-world decor and wonderful landscaped grounds. The festival will harness the spirituality of the 'City of Palaces' and bring Mysore back on to the world stage. Work your body and mind in yoga sessions and experience the cultural vibrancy, and joyful vitality of India.
