What a wonderful journey it has been for the Kerala Womens 5x5 Basketball Team in the 37th National Games held at Goa.Throughout the Championship the team dominated on both sides except in the Finals which was closely fought against Karnataka .The experience of Current Senior Indian Team Players Sreekala,Aneesha and Kavita along with Former Indian Player Grima Merlin was the biggest advantage of the side along with Coach Shri. and Assistant Coach Shri .kannan.9 experience got it through for Kerala in the finals as well .We would specially like to appreciate the kindess of the selection committee and KBA for taking four College Players in the squad along with the experienced players .The squad without Senior Player Jeena would have really struggled in the final stages of the Championship but Susan(KSEB),Nimmy(KSEB) and Chippy(Kerala Police) stepped in at crucial minutes of the Finals and helped the squad to confirm the Gold for the State .Congrats to the entire Kerala contingent for Bagging the Gold and bringing the Championship back home after 2015 National Games held at Kerala .Special mention to all coaches and parents of these players who helped mould these stars till date .🥇🏆🤩👍🏀🏆
