Midsems are over, and GCs are back!

After the grueling midsems, it's time for the even more tense and grueling GC. The squash GC is starting on the 25th of September in the squash court in New SAC. We hope to see active participation from all the hostels. Do bring your 'Acids' along, and come up with innovative slogans to cheer for your hostel.

If you can't beat them, squash them! We are thrilled to announce that the Institute Sports Council will be holding a PG squash league this weekend. Gumsole shoes are compulsory, so don't forget to wear them.
We look forward to seeing all the PG squash enthusiasts battling it out. Best of Luck!

The Pakistani defeated Geoff Hunt in a four-game final in Toronto, and would go on to win six World Championship titles in his career!

"Nour el Sherbini" has won her 5️⃣th PSA World Championship trophy!
The world no. 1 becomes only the 3rd women to achieve that feat after Nicol David & Sarah Fitz-Gerald👏🏻👏🏻

And "Ali Farag" who welcomes a baby daughter into the world on 11th july, now on 22nd july becomes a PSA World Champion🏆for the 2️⃣nd time!
A month which he will never forget❤

The 2020-21 PSA World Champions will be crowned tonight in Chicago as the Egyptian top seeds and World Numbers one and two do battle in both finals at the University Club of Chicago.

Women’s defending champion Nour El Sherbini, appearing in a record 6️⃣th straight Worlds final with four wins to her name already, takes on 2️⃣nd seeded compatriot Nouran Gohar, and the winner will not only be crowned World Champion but will also be World Number 1️⃣.

Men’s top seed Ali Farag won the World title here in Chicago in 2019, but knows that tonight’s opponent Mohamed ElShorbagy will take over his World Number 1️⃣ spot.
