Welcome to my site ' The Flower Age' that features women who are completely present in their lives, whether for a short while pursuing passions, making their way through career paths or simply learning to love themselves again by doing what they love.

The idea was born at workshop with Brigitte André who made me believe in my projects even more and asked me to find another outlet that gives a better framework to my chosen category of inspiring women.

So, I conjured up this space that will be dedicated to my heroines. The other site will still continue but will focus on all my other topics.

I thank my sister Latha Warrier Latha Warrier Creations for all her support since I started actively writing last March. She has constantly edited, provided images and picked me up in moments of doubt. I couldn't have made it this far without her.

I hope you will support my new blog as much as my old.

I present Susan Josi who's the protagonist in my first post.

Susan has lived a rich entrepreneur life and is now satisfying her relentless thirst to know her capacities as a hill runner, trekker and scuba diver. It was a pleasure to speak to her and present her to the world.

Nearly half a year after his retirement, Suresh Shankar Welankar is still doing what he loves and getting better and better at it.

He recently sent me his photos and time for the NMDC Hyderabad 42km Marathon. It's so refreshing that he sent it to me spontaneously. I'd promised him to update the article I wrote about him with these photos and highlighting his amazing achievement. He ran his PB at this event and was third in his age category at 3h49mins45secs.

Weaving the story of my Mother's childhood in the 1940s has me healing, happy and hugely nostalgic.

Today it makes complete sense to me.

It's a really beautiful experience living through her childhood and piecing it all together.

A year ago, I sat down with my Yoga teacher Rasika Muthukumar who strikes one as a 'wise' teacher in several senses of the word.

Not only is she an expert at Yoga and now offers several other courses, she travels once a year on her own on hikes and treks, prioritising her mental & physical health and her own unique need for space.

In this digital world, where she could be making a lot more money and followers if she were connected, she doesn't spend time on social media either. This is a woman in her thirties we're talking about!
