The Futsal Association of India, also simply known as FAI, is the governing body of Futsal in India. FAI was formed in 2008 and we are solely responsible for the management of the men’s, women’s and youth national futsal teams. Mr Namdev Shirgaonkar is the former President of the association and also an exco member of the Olympics Association of India. We have a team of experienced members who hav
e been promoting sports of various forms since a decade and who’ve dedicated their time and expertise towards the sports of Futsal in India. We are affiliated with Association Mundial de Futsal (AMF) since 2011 & also the Founder Member of Confederation of Asian Futsal (CAFS). We are qualified to run the biggest leagues and even the world cup. Our aim is to educate the youth of India about the importance of Futsal through district, state and national tournaments so that they have a better understanding of the game. We will produce great players not only in Futsal but also in football and create a new benchmark for our selves every time. In the coming years we want to see Futsal as a major sport in India. By delivering the best opportunities to our players along with excellent training and facilities we hope to be prepared for the Futsal world cup. We have already tied up with more than 300 schools and colleges all over India and we plan to grow into every territory leaving a mark of Futsal everywhere.
