Some things a child learns. Some things become a part of who they are. 🪕

Hindustani Classical music can be both.
At Myna, children are introduced to the beauty and discipline of Hindustani Classical music - from the 7 swaras and sur to taal and simple ragas - in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate and enjoyable.

And the learning goes beyond music. Regular, structured music training has been associated with the development of skills such as working memory, self-control and cognitive flexibility in young children.

At the same time, children get to slow down, listen deeply, practise patiently and discover the joy of finding their own voice - while staying connected to a beautiful Indian musical tradition.

For children aged 5 years and above

There is something deeply satisfying about learning to play the tabla and once you start, you never really stop. 🥁

The Dayan, bright and melodic. The Bayan, deep and grounding. Two sounds, one instrument and together they carry the beat of everything we love to hear.

Tabla isn’t just about keeping time. It sharpens focus, trains the ear and teaches the whole body to listen. From Classical to Bollywood to Fusion, it finds its way into everything. ✨

Classes for children and adults at Myna Academy.
