pted by the samurai. It is based on qualities like loyalty, integrity, humility, fearlessness & courage. MMA or mixed martial arts is not only a great fun way to get in shape without the monotonous gym routine, it also helps build your confidence (so that you never get in a fight in the 1st place).
& self-confidence in turn helps inculcate in you the qualities that BUSHIDO signifies. Our classes are conducted in an open, spacious place surrounded by greenery so that you feel connected to nature, the way these arts were originally developed & taught. The classes are based on your needs so you need not have absolutely any prior experience to start training with us, also age, gender & athletic abilities are no barriers to learn MMA with us.
*The Arts
Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art that was perfected by martial artists to defend against bigger opponents. Jiu-jitsu uses submission holds such as chokes and joint locks to render an opponent helpless and is an excellent art to know for self-defense. Judo is a modern combat sport that is best known for its spectacular throwing techniques. Judo also uses some submissions similar to jiu-jitsu but its main difference is their use of a Judo-Gi. A Gi is a heavy cotton uniform worn by students and utilized for securing grips and holds on opponents. The use of a Gi translates great into gripping a shirt or jacket for self-defense outside of training. Muay-Thai kickboxing is one of the most devastating striking arts. The class will teach a combination of boxing skills, elbows, kicks, and knees. Boxing formerly known as pugilism was outlawed in many states because of its lethal hand strike combos. Karate- in Japanese KARA means empty & TE means hands. Karate quick strikes are emphasized in MMA. Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that emphasizes heavily on kicks. The class will teach high impact leg-strikes. Wrestling is the art of grappling. It is essential for MMA in order to gain advantageous position for striking or submission.
