We take immense pleasure in informing you that Western Region is organizing its Annual Conference WESCON 2020 along with IIF-GMC chapter in Mumbai at The Retreat Hotel & Convention Centre, Madh Island on 14th &15th December 2019. Theme of the WESCON is “Advancement of MSME Foundries".
More than 200 delegates from different chapters of Western Region are likely to attend this conference.There will be 6 presentations from the experts of the industry, who will throw light on the aspirations like Global opportunities,importance of quality, optimization of resources, skill development etc.

Workshop on "PROCESS CENTRIC INSPECTION / IQUALITY CONCEPT" from Mr. Nilesh Kawade:
First technical talk of the year for IIF-GMC was incredibly successful and well received.

CASTING defects can negatively impact the bottom line of a foundry. At the simples level, they manifest as rework costs or casting scrap costs. However, in many cases, the casting defects may be discovered at the machining stage, at the assembly stage or during use of the component. The resultant value added costs and warranty costs may sometimes be passed on to the foundry by their customer. These charges may be significantly more than the cost of the casting itself. QUALITY CONTROL is not just about dimensional conformance but also about more productive, profitable process which will keep environment clean and healthy. To take PROCESS CENTRIC INSPECTION to grass root in INDIAN foundry sector, we have initiated a quality concept called as IQUALITY. This program is based on adaption of DIGITAL METROLOGY(3D SCANNING) and brings various benefits to the foundries.
