Tejomaya Foundation founded by Mrs.Namrata Sawant is a registered organization with the Charity Commissioner Office, Mumbai. This group has travelled extensively and has performed with great pomp and show at many places all over India. Tejomaya Foundation provides a platform to all the upcoming
young artistes in the field of folk performing arts from various parts of India. The group performs various forms of Indian folk dances such as Lavni, Koli, Gondhal, Jogva, Rajasthani, Bhangda, Gidda, Garba, Classical, etc. The artists of Tejomaya Foundation has performed on vivid platforms such as Kala Ghoda Festival, Karnataka Festival, ’Matheran Green festival’, New zealand and Indonesia Festivals, Bihar Government show, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Vaibhavwadi-Konkan Mahotsav, Marathi Celebrity Cricket League (MCCL), Mulund Mahotsav, Mumbai etc. Our team of artists also consist of dancers specialized in western dance forms such as Hip Hop, Locking and Popping, Contemporary, Robotics, Bollywood, Tutting, Zumba Fitness, etc. Tejomaya Foundation conducts classes and Dance workshops and trains young talented students in various schools and provides knowledge of our Indian cultural Art forms along with financial assistance. The group members and the artistes are well trained, extremely energetic and enthusiastic for dance. They are capable of performing varied dance forms. Namrata Sawant, the chairperson of this group, and a perfectionist is extremely enthusiastic and heads the group in a very professional way. All the artistes being cooperative, the results are always perfect. This group has earned many awards and certificates due to combined unified efforts from everyone in this group.
