Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is on track to make a return from injury in next weekend’s titanic El Clasico clash with Real Madrid, as per Mundo Deportivo.

Messi has been out of action since tearing his medial collateral ligament in his left knee in September’s La Liga fixture with Las Palmas and has since missed Barcelona’s last five league games.

The Argentinian talisman has also been forced to sit out their last three consecutive Champions League ties but now looks set for a much-awaited return.

Argentina edged closer to the quarter-finals of the Copa América with a nervous 1-0 win over Uruguay in La Serena, Chile. A goal from Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero ten minutes into the second half was enough to give the albiceleste all three points in the Group B clash against their local rivals with Leo Messi and Javier Mascherano playing all 90 minutes.

Reports say that Barcelona want to bring Denis Suarez back from his loan at Sevilla early to reinforce their midfield.

The 21-year-old was a regular in Unai Emery’s side this season and could be brought in to bulk up the squad with Xavi Hernandez departing and a transfer embargo imposed, meaning first choice signing Paul Pogba and back-up option Marco Verratti couldn’t play until January.

Wednesday's edition of French newspaper L'Equipe has an interesting claim for Manchester United supporters. There appears to be a new target in town and in a transfer rumour period which has already become a little stale, that's refreshing. L'Equipe reckon that Manchester United have turned their attention to Fabinho for their right back position.

After 'hotel meeting', winger expected to complete Man United move - we take a look.
Januzaj and Moyes were spotted together at Marbella’s El Fuerte hotel. It was just after the season ended, the reports came on May 29th. Marbella being quite some way from Real Sociedad's San Sebastian, we'd have to assume both men were on holiday. Diario Vasco clearly take it as fact that the meeting happened and they believe that's just one clear indication a loan is on.
