Ghatkopar Jolly Gymkhana played host for the very first time to TTFSL QL (32 players) & SL (32 players) on Sunday 10th May 2026. With only 2 TT Tables in an AC environment, SL scheduling went off by almost 45 mins – 1 hour primarily because of tremendous long battles in QL.
Qualifier League
As new players join TTFSL, diamond players emerge, playing for the very first time in TTFSL, two outstanding left handed players emerged Jay B and Mohil T. The left handed Jay B, reportedly not a regular player in TT was pivoting and hit outstanding winner after winners with ferocious power. While the 13 year old Mohil T struggled initially but was hitting topspin smoothly, perfect in counters.
Jay B eventually succumbed to Thane Veteran Prashant P, the latter using superior services to outfox the newcomer. The SF saw BEST player Nilesh J square of against Prashant P, while Mohil T took on experienced LP twiddler Pratyush. In the first SF Nilesh led 2-0 till Prashant fought back to make it 2-2, however the decider Prashant made tremendous errors unable to capitalize on 3rd ball attack using his superior services. The second SF Pratyush tried his best to keep Mohil down but found the 13 year left hander putting extreme rotation on the ball and hitting wide angles to Pratyush FH.
The final came down to a typical youth vs veteran, and once again Mohil prevailed 3-1 with wide angles and making the Veteran Nilesh move left to right, right to left putting him out of play.
Winner : Mohil T
Rup : Nilesh J

Super League
An absolute banger of a SL, the group stage Harsh G going toe to toe with Adriel D, the second game going to 20-18 and third going to 17-15 with the Colaba star prevailing finally. Former SL Winner Yuvraj K was in fine nick but lost to Kshtij Sankhe in the group stage unable to retain Ksh*tij service. Superb play by Hanoz P but unfortunately Harinee S and Kavish G both overcame the chopper in close contests.
TTFSL chief made it to the QF, knocking of Anti Spin specialist Jaywant M in R16, but lost to home academy Kavish G, the latter hitting perfect FH topspins to overcome the TTFSL Chief. In the first SF Kavish was leading 2-1 against the mathematician Ksh*tij S and had 3 match points but the former start overhitting and lost the crucial game 4. With the momentum having shifted Ksh*tij closed out the decider 3-2 that went to the wire once again.
Kunwar J demolished Harsh G using superior services but once again lost in the QF stage to Yuvraj K 1-3 in a battle of speed and spin, the youngster moving superbly laterally to keep the ball back on the TT table and Kunwar J making rare service errors. Yuvraj K then went on to literally demolish left hander Yatharth K 3-1 who earlier beat Leftie LP specialist Harinee S 3-1, the latter making mistakes in lifting backspin half long balls.
In the final Ksh*tij appeared exhausted after playing a 5 setter SF, making unforced errors in FH topspin with much slower leg speed. With Yuvraj K having lost to him in the group stage, the kid adapted and received Ksh*tij services much better and blocked and attacked superbly to win 3-0.
Winner : Yuvraj K
Rup : Ksh*tij S
Prize Money disbursed : INR 6400/-
