Water-colours are the most heavenly medium to use on paper. If you love flowers and also are a water-colour enthusiast just like us, then this is the workshop for you which is a beautiful blend of both.

You will learn the basics of watercolour painting as you make beautiful florals. 🖌💙

Day 1: You will learn the basics of watercolors learn to make various flowers and leaves on paper.

Day 2: We will create beautiful compositions from the various flowers and leaves we learnt on first day.

One stroke Painting is a technique where one can create floral patterns with the brush in a single stroke without the need to draw any details. Learning this skill can help the participant in creating quick art works which can be used on paper, cloth, furniture articles, etc. We assure you that at the end of this workshop you will be in awe with the works you create.

We bring to you a 3 day Online workshop where you will learn the basic techniques of one stroke painting using the round brush. This is a workshop for beginners who wish to learn the art of one stroke painting.

Kalamkari is a traditional folk painting style practiced in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in India from about 3000 years. It is a highly popular art form in which hand paintings are used for making narrative scrolls & panels. The legacy of the ancient form of art has been passed on from generation to generation and now applications of this painting style can be seen everywhere.

Day 1: We will introduce the art of Kalamkari & explain the detailed process of Kalamkari art. We will learn how to make the traditional tool and make the traditional colors used in Kalamkari. We will also create some beautiful bookmarks taking inspiration from the Kalamkari style of painting.

What’s in it for you?
(1) We will be covering the basic strokes, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and word formations.
(2) We will also show various applications where you can apply the skills you have learnt.
(3) A printable workbook with which the students can practice during the course duration and even after.
(4) Since fetching materials is difficult due to the lockdown we have kept it simple. Just grab a few ruled sheets, pencil, eraser and few pens (micro tip/gel/ball/sketchpens/colored/black, basically whatever is available)
