Trail Hounds Cycling Club We are a community driven, non-profit organisation that seeks to promote & facilitate the sport of mountain biking in Nagaland. Membership includes one MTB.

Our club was founded in 2014 with the goal of bringing cycling enthusiasts together. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to building a camaraderie around the MTB community. OUR MISSION:
i) To promote the healthy sport of cycling through events such as group rides, training, organised races, workshops, service projects and cause-oriented charitable fundraising and solicitation policies. ii)

To support cycling through three tiers: Road bike riding & racing, Mountain bike riding and racing, and group rides. iii) To inspire a generation of green riders to adopt sustainable mode of transportation. iv) To work towards preservation of our environment and ecosystem, and to create awareness through seminars and bike rides. vi) To take up cycling as an industry and to mainstream this sport at the national and international levels thereby giving an opportunity for the young sports enthusiasts to take up cycling as a profession. vii) To help grow the cycling community in Mokokchung. Currently Mokokchung has less than 5 active riders. Our target is to produce at least 100 active riders by the time India celebrates 75 Years Jubilee in 2022. MEMBERSHIP:
Membership in the TRAIL HOUNDS is based on a household (as defined as a group of people living within Mokokchung). REQUIREMENTS
• All members must own an MTB
• All members must have up to date contact information on file with the club secretary.
• All members must have a signed waiver of liability, emergency contact and medical information on file with the club secretary.
• All members must agree to the club by laws. CONDUCT AND EVENT RULES:
• All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectable and orderly manner during any club sponsored or affiliated event. This includes club meetings, “meet & greets”, trail rides, and non-trail ride events. Any member not doing so may be subject to dismissal.
• All members are accountable for the actions for their guests. Guests attending an TRAIL HOUNDS event are bound by the TRAIL HOUNDS by laws.
• TRAIL HOUNDS does not discriminate based on race, creed, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. Any harassment by members against either members or non-members based on the above will not be tolerated, and will result in membership dismissal.
• TRAIL HOUNDS will not be held responsible for injuries to a member, guest, or prospective member.
• TRAIL HOUNDS will not be held responsible for damage or loss to any MTB or personal property. TRAIL HOUNDS has been set up to cater a mature and friendly style of discussion. Please consider this a place where you can start a discussion on any aspect of your MTB experience (both good and bad), safe in the knowledge that responses will be thoughtful and considered. There are no arguments, and no bickering. In short TRAIL HOUNDS MTB Club has been created as a fun but mature place for like minded individuals, to keep this the case consider what you are posting, light hearted banter is acceptable so long as it does not get out of hand and offensive! In all cases, the decisions of the Administrator/Moderators are final.
