Rising cricket star Nitesh Kumar Shah from Darjeeling Sub-Division delivered a spellbinding performance in the CAB U-15 Inter Sub-Division Cricket Tournament 2025–26, earning him the Man of the Match title in a thrilling encounter against Mirik Sub-Division.

Held at Siliguri, the match witnessed Nitesh dismantle the opposition with a magical spell of 8 overs, 1 maidens, 22 run, and 4 wickets. His devastating pace and pinpoint accuracy left the Mirik batting order in tatters, with little room to recover.

Nitesh’s efforts were instrumental in Darjeeling’s dominance on the field, as they cruised to a comfortable win. The young bowler’s breathtaking performance drew admiration from spectators, coaches, and officials alike.

In preparation for the upcoming CAB U-15 Inter Sub-Division Cricket Tournament 2025-26, a special coaching workshop was organized for the Kurseong Sub-Division Under-15 Cricket Team. The workshop took place in Kurseong and was conducted under the guidance of esteemed coach Shri Satyavrat Singh Rajput.

Coach Rajput, known for his disciplined approach and experience in youth cricket development, focused on sharpening the players' skills, boosting team spirit, and building mental resilience.
