Goa super bodies powerlifting association will be conducting selection trial for goa team to represent at senior west zone powerlifting championship in goa from 29 to 31 March and goa team for junior and sub junior for national powerlifting championship to be held at tamil Nadu from 12 to 17 may 2023. Selection trail will be held at pro fitness gym varca on 18 February at 11 am . All junior and sub junior lifters carry original birth for trails

Goa super bodies powerlifting association going to conduct selection trail for goa team to participate at National Benchpress championship 2022 at Aurangbad Maharashtra. Trials will be held at the SAG fatorda stadium on 13 December 2022 at 3.30 pm sharp . Trial will be conducted for senior , junior ,sub junior and master men and women .for junior and sub junior weight cat starts from 53kg for boys and and 43kg for girls. Selection Trail for goa team to participate at NATIONAL BENCH PRESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 GOA in this championship selection of team india for Asian Bench Press championship 2021 will be done in above championship so I request all the goan players that its a golden opportunity so don't miss it.
i.e selection trail for goa team men and women sub junior, junior ,senior,master 1,2,3,4 will be taken on 17 and 18 April 2021 at savordem south goa.
Venue :- Govt primary school ground Sanvordem.
All the players who are participating in sub junior and junior will have to produce original birth certificate during the selection trail.

Lifter born on or after 01.01.2003 are eligible for sub junior
Lifter born on or after 01.01.1998 are eligible for junior

Goa Team participating at the 46th Men and 38th Women Senior National Powerlifting championship to be held at Coimbatore Tamil Nadu between 17th to 21st February 2021. Total of 7 participants from various parts of Goa will be heading the Goa team coached under Mr. Sarvesh Khauthanker National powelifter. Goa super bodies Powerlifting association affiliated to Sports Authority of Goa and Powerlifting India wishes them Good Luck.

Goa Super Bodies Powerlifting Association affiliated to Powerlifting India & Sports Authority of Goa. In the past we have organized several State level, National Level and Zonal championships and our Goa team has participated in Western India, National level and International Conference too.
Are are taking another step now ,we have decided on 5th May 2019 at 3.00Pm to host Open Benchpress StateLlevel Championship and also selection trial for the Goa State Sub-Junior Powerlifting team both men and women which is organized by Powerlifting India on 27th May 2019 at Coimbatore Tamil Nadu.

The above Open Benchpress championship and selection trial will take place at the Core Fitness Centre, Sky high building, opposite Kidzee school, Jairam Nagar Dabolim Vasco Da Gama.

We look forward to organize this Open Benchpress Championship and Sub junior selection trial with a good response so that we can take Powerlifting in Goa to a better level and appeal to all sportsmen and women to be dope free and not to consume any banned substances which is harmful to health.
Details of the Open Benchpress tournament:
1) There will be 8 categories based upon body weight. Men:- 59kg, 66kg, 74kg, 83kg, 93kg, 105kg, 120kg and 120+kg categories. While Women:- 47kg, 52kg, 57kg, 63kg, 72kg, 84kg and 84+kg category.
2) Medals and Certificates will be issued to top 3 winners
3) No entry fee
4) Participants should reach the venue at 2.30pm to give their body weights.

Sports Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar along with Goa team and Association who represented for National Benchpress Championship held at Pune.
Total of 32 players ,4 women , 28 men and 2 officials participated in various categories.

Regina Dourado- Silver & Bronze medal in Women master 52 kg cat.

Dhananjay Naik -Silver medal in 59 kg cat master.

Archita S Shirodkar- Bronze medal in Sub junior.

Prasad Naik in Senior and Meckbal Fernandes in Sub Junior secured Bronze medals in National Benchpress Championship which was held at Ranchi.
