Sikkim’s Soniya S***a Clinches Bronze at National Boxing Championship

The Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association has announced that young pugilist Soniya S***a won the bronze medal in the 33 kg category at the Sub-Junior Boys & Girls National Boxing Championship in Jalandhar, Punjab. Her performance against boxers from 22 states has brought pride to Sikkim and been praised as a sign of greater success ahead.

MANGAN DISTRICT BOXING ASSOCIATION (MDBA) participated in 20th ELITE MEN AND WOMEN and YOUTH MEN AND WOMEN BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP at namchi during 22nd-24th Dec 2024 with total 8 boxer participating and Coach Mr. Prabin Limboo. MDBA bagged 2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 2 Bronze Medals being YOUTH WOMENS Champion and YOUTH MENS Runners-Up in the Championship.
