मनाली की बेटी दिव्यांगना मेहता ने पौधरोपण कर जन्मदिन को यादगार बनाया और अपने टीम के साथ 30 पौधों को मनाली के नेहरू कुंड के पास वन विभाग के क्षेत्र में लगा कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया है , दिव्यांगना मेहता का कहना है कि पेड़ पौधे हमारे आने वाले भविष्य के लिए बहुत मायने रखते हैं , उन्होंने आम जन से भी अपील की है कि वह भी अपने आसपास के पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए पौधरोपण ज़रूर करें ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ी को स्वच्छ बातावरण मिल सके ।
गौर रहे कि दिव्यांगना मेहता ने मिस हिमाचल शो से अपने कैरियर की शुरुआत की थी और मिस भारत 2014 की विजेता रहने के साथ साथ अनेकों शो में जज और निर्देशक की भूमिका निभाती आ रही है तथा भारतीय नृत्य कला और गायकी में भी महारत हासिल की है वर्तमान में ब्रह्मनाद पत्रिका की संपादक हैं और मनाली में मॉडलिंग ट्रेनिंग कोचिंग चला रही हैं । मनाली की रहने वाली इस बेटी ने देश भर में हमेशा हिमाचल का नाम रोशन किया हैं और हिमाचली संस्कृति में चार चाँद लगाए हैं।
