महाराष्ट्र पर्यटन विकास महामंडळच्या तारकर्ली येथील इसदा या प्रशिक्षण संस्थेमध्ये जलपर्यटन व आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन मध्ये बोट चालविणे, जीवरक्षक, बचाव, स्कुबा डायव्हिंग चे महत्व ओळखून राज्यातील एकूण ३६० युवक व युवती यांना जीव रक्षक, पॉवर बोट हॅडलिंग व स्कुबा डायविंग याचे मोफत प्रशिक्षण राज्य आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण मार्फत आयोजित केले आहे...
प्रत्येक जिल्ह्यामधील ५ जणांना जीवरक्षक व पॉवर बोट हॅडलिंग व ५ जणांना बचाव स्कुबा व यातील एक डाईवमास्टर असे रू. ६०,००० ते १,६०,००० पर्यंत चे अगदी मोफत प्रशिक्षण देण्यात येणार आहे... यात निवास व भोजन याची पण मोफत सोय केलेली आहे...
सदर प्रशिक्षण हे पूर्णपणे मोफत असून यासाठी वयोमर्यादा १८ते२५ वर्ष, कमीतकमी १०वी पास, व वजन ५५कीलोपेक्षा जास्त असावे असे निकष आहेत..

As promised this is our rest of the team of highly trained Dive masters acing is their skill.

Anton kalsekar A student turned into a Dive Master , one of the best divers in his batch. Anton is fun to dive with and whenever he’s on the boat, stay ready to have a blast of entertainment pre and post dive. He has been diving in malvan for almost 6 years now and has been great since start.
Harshali Manjrekar .manjarekar First female Dive Master from Sindhudurg district , started as a student in a group of 20 male divers and emerged as one of the most compatible diver from the batch and ended up joining the official team. Loads of interest in macro fauna and photography & loves to dive for fun.
Rutuj Dewoolkar A diploma holder in engineering now diving as a proud Divemaster at IISDA since 4 years. A keen interest in building structures , a gadget geek and certified with an underwater photography speciality. Worked in Andaman for a season and returned to his long listed commitment towards IISDA.
Sanket Gawade Trained in IISDA and selected to work with IISDA due to demonstration of sheer passion and dedicated towards the field of diving. IISDA is packed with such hardworking and multitalented individuals that would greet you with a smile regardless of the work pressure.
Vishal Rathod He’s our guy equipped for customer relations backed by his time experience in the service industry. He has worked in BPOs and has spent his time being a cabin crew for Air India. To back his diving he has completed his bachelors in zoology. He is now adhered to the field of scuba as a Divemaster .
Vivan Rane Is a Masters in Marine Biology with a keen interest on coral health, restoration and artificial reef construction. He interned in IISDA during 2017. Further has worked for Wildlife Institute of India for a marine project in Sindhudurg. Vivan is our in house marine scientist and assures that you don’t miss any of the fish/coral that you see during your dive. He can seriously give you tips about your trim and scientific sieving and is good to talk to.

Let’s introduce you to the pillars of our Institute our Instructors.

Dr. Sarang Kulkarni sir is a PhD. in Marine Biology and the man responsible behind the scuba diving community of Sindhudurg district. He joined MTDC after returning from Andaman Islands in 2001 and since then he has just given every thing for the sport and the place to emerge out as a hotspot for scuba diving in the country. Sarang sir is designated as the Chief instructor and General manager of IISDA. He is indeed the heart.

Jitesh Vast is one with a combination of experience and fun as an instructor . Jitesh sir has been working with all his will since 2014 and is always ready for an adventure.

Ghanshyam Morje Popularly know as Shyam sir all around and know for his immense knowledge and experience of over 20 years of diving in and around the Indian islands, and now currently conquering Malvan.

Suraj is a young instructor trained by the best in the country and has worked in Andaman Islands for over a period of 3 years and now is bearing the flag as the Manager of IISDA. Strict as an instructor but also fun as a friend. No horsing around when in water is what he believes in .

Vasant Yeram An IISDA veteran who’s been here since 2002 and still continuing to be a part of the institute as an Asst. Instructor. Vasant sir is proficient in underwater filming and has multiple project to back this quality of his.

Thompson Fernandis .fernandes.967 One more of our IISDA veteran who has been a part of this institution since the start who started as a student and now a Dive master and boat master in IISDA. A multi talented individual who morphs into a Diver and also into a boat master as per need with a smile 😊
