Sporting Options FC � was launched on the 30th of April 2005 , with the objective of promoting 'Sports' at the outset the firm decided to focus on 'Football' at the Local level, where the team participated in Local 'Rink Football' Tournaments, we gradually grew from Strength to Strength and on our first Anniversary 30th of March'06 - we applied to the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) f

or membership as we wanted to enroll our team for Football Tournaments conducted at the 'District Level' - today the team plays in the 3rd Division of the MDFA where every new 'football' team starts their journey at the 5th Division. In the process of publicising 'Football thru our initiative' we have also launched a Football Academy' called the Sporting Options Football Academy - headed by Pranay Gohil and Salil Pereira - the objective of the Football Academy is to promote Football at the 'Grass Root' level and give young footballers a 'platform' to compete at the District level as well as effectively represent their respective schools at football tournaments organised by the MSSA (Mumbai School Sports Association). The Officials at the MDFA do acknowledge our 'interest' in promoting Sports and have extended their 'support' on all 'grass root' programs we plan to initiate in and around Mumbai in the near future.
