For those women who think that it's not oppressive for women to wear veils, I'll say you are as misogynist as men and you suffer from imbibed misogyny and it's high time you became aware of it. So take the parda/veil of your brain pl. _/|\_
Wearing a veil to hide your face so that men don't lust for you, binding the feet, wearing virginity corsets, doing h***n reconstruction surgery, dying in the funeral pyre with the deceased husband, etc. are all oppressive. These are the customs of a archaic patriarchal misogynist society.

be-parda kal jo aa.iiñ nazar chand bībayāñ
'akbar' zamīñ meñ ġhairat-e-qaumī se gaḌ gayā
pūchhā jo maiñ ne aap kā parda vo kyā huā
kahne lagīñ ki aql pe mardoñ ke paḌ gayā
Attempted translation:
When some women were seen the other day without the veil Akbar felt he was buried under the honour of the masses/people
He ask them what happened to the veils
that the veils were covering the minds of the men.
be-parda: without a veil
Bibayan: women
zamin: ground
ghairat-e-qaumi: honor/ self-respect of nation
akl: mind/brain
mardon: men

If it's okay for women to wear veils, it's okay for men to wear veils.
