Participated and addressed the organisational review meeting of District Kupwara, chaired by Party General Secretary Organisation G.N. Lone Hanjura sb.. Briefed the leadership on the organisational activities and public outreach initiatives being undertaken to strengthen the PDP in Handwara, and reaffirmed my commitment to further strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by Party General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Aalam, Additional General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, General Secretary Youth North kashmir Adv Azad Parwaz .Adv. Khursheed Iqbal, Advocate Gh Nabi Bukhari, District President Kupwara Mohammad Afzal Wani, and members of the District and Zonal Committees of Kupwara.

While Kashmir was finally connected to Jammu by rail, the direct Vande Bharat Express from Jammu unfortunately continues to end at Srinagar. As a result, passengers travelling to North Kashmir are still required to change trains, causing unnecessary inconvenience to thousands of commuters every day.
I humbly urge the Government of India, particularly the Hon'ble Railway Minister, to extend the direct Jammu–Baramulla Vande Bharat service at the earliest. North Kashmir is home to a large population that deserves seamless rail connectivity.
