Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervor at BHSS Drugmulla

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and national pride at BHSS Drugmulla. The event witnessed active participation from all students, teaching and non-teaching staff, along with esteemed members of civil society.

The main highlight of the celebration was the hoisting of the National Flag by the worthy Principal, Mr. Gulzar Sb, followed by the National Anthem.

The morning featured a series of vibrant cultural programs presented by students, along with insightful speeches highlighting the historical significance and importance of Independence Day. Speaker after speaker reminded the gathering of the sacrifices made by our national heroes and the duty of every citizen in building a stronger nation.

The program concluded on a sweet note with refreshments served to all participating students and civil society members. The event successfully brought together the school family and the local community in a spirit of unity and patriotism.

A Mega Tiranga Rally was organized at BHSS Drugmulla,by cluster Drugmulla today, on 12-08-2026, to promote patriotism, national unity, and national pride.

The rally was conducted in collaboration with the Tehsil Office , Police- Choki and the ZEO Office Drugmulla. It witnessed active participation from the worthy Tehsildar Drugmulla, ZEO Drugmulla, SHO Police Choki Drugmulla, team members, and students of Cluster Drugmulla.

The students carried the tricolor and raised patriotic slogans throughout the rally. The event instilled a strong sense of national pride and unity among the participants. The rally concluded peacefully with a message to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and patriotism.

Inter-school Zonal Level Cricket Trials U 14 age group are in progress at BHSS Hatmulla (zone Drugmulla)under the approved Calendar of Activities of the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu & Kashmir. Students from various institutions are participating with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Tomorrow will be U17 boys trials.

The Physical Education Wing of Zone Drugmulla successfully organized the 10th International Yoga Day celebration at the *2nd venue, My New School, Drugmulla*. The zonal-level event witnessed enthusiastic participation from institutions across the zone.

A total of 17 schools took part in the program, including 3 Higher Secondary Schools, 4 High Schools, and 10 Middle Schools. Students and staff actively performed various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation under the guidance of trained instructors.

The event highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and unity among students. The organizers appreciated the discipline and enthusiasm of all participants who made the celebration meaningful.

The program concluded with a pledge to adopt yoga as a part of daily life for a healthier and more balanced society.
