St. Ephrem’s HSS Mannanam Clinch Porukara–Chambakulam Title

Kottayam: St. Ephrem’s HSS, Mannanam (KSSC Academy) emerged champions of the Porukara–Chambakulam All Kerala Inter-School Basketball Tournament held at Chambakulam on Sunday.

In an exciting final, St. Ephrem’s defeated GV HSS Mancheri, Malappuram, by 48–36, showcasing commendable defence and teamwork throughout the game.

Gautham P. M. of St. Ephrem’s HSS Mannanam was adjudged Best Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.

With this victory, St. Ephrem’s continues their impressive run in inter-school basketball circuits across the state.

EPHREM’S TROPHY

Ephrem’s Trophy is an event conducted at St. Ephrem’s HSS, Mannanam, Kottayam, Kerala. Over the past 20 years, this tournament has created countless memorable moments in basketball. Many players showcased their skills, achieved great success both individually and as teams, and many of them have secured jobs and recognition through their performances.

From my experience, every edition of this tournament brings a unique learning experience. At times, financial challenges come in the way, but if we stop conducting such tournaments and stop nurturing our players, it will adversely affect the coming generation. That is why teamwork and a unified vision are essential. Only when we think together and work together can events like this become easier to organize and sustain.

I warmly invite everyone to extend your support and share the vision of shaping the next generation through sports. Finally, I express my sincere gratitude to all who have supported me, especially my STARS—Sports Training Aid Rendering Scheme—which has been a true help to the needy and talented young athletes.

Ephrem’s Trophy Begins
Mannanam: The 20th Ephrem’s Trophy All Kerala Inter-School Basketball Championship has commenced. The championship was inaugurated by Mr. J. Joseph, Managing Director of the Sydney Montessori Institutions. Corporate Manager Fr. James Mullassery, Manager Fr. Kurian Chalenngady, Mr. Baiju V. Gurukkal (President, Kottayam Sports Council), Principal Mrs. Tessy Lukose, Headmaster Mr. Benny Scaria, and Fr. Antony Kanjirathinkal spoke on the occasion.
