Today’s cold front brought significant wind damage to our facility, serving as a stark reminder of the challenges we face in this unique environment.
Choosing this location (nestled between the sea and the lake) was a strategic decision for our paddling center. However, it requires us to constantly adapt. We operate in a landscape where nature is relentless: seaspray accelerates corrosion, fierce winds drive horizontal rain, and the lakefront brings the ever-present risk of flooding.
Solving these problems is rarely a one-time fix. Each challenge we overcome often reveals another, turning our daily operations into a continuous process of learning and structural refinement.
