The 'Ascent Combat Championship', a Jing Wu Do championship, was held on December 27 and 28 at St. Gregorios College, Kottarakkara. The event was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister for Finance, Shri K.N. Balagopal. Shri Chittayam Gopakumar, the Honorable Deputy Speaker, participated in the 'Face-Off' of the Pro Fight—the championship's highlight—and performed the belt unveiling ceremony.
