Rameshbabu Vaishali has won the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament, earning the right to challenge for the Women’s World Championship title.

She secured this achievement after a strong and consistent performance against an elite international field, finishing at the top of the standings. This makes her one of the very few Indian women to reach the final stage of the world championship cycle.

With this victory, Vaishali will now face the reigning Women’s World Champion Ju Wenjun in the 2026 Women’s World Chess Championship match.

We run C4Chess — an online chess academy.
And we realized something weird.
Every academy website looks the same: About us. Programs. Book a trial.
Basically… a brochure.
So we asked: Why can’t someone just land on a website and play chess instantly?
Not get redirected. Not download an app. Not create an account.
Just play.
So we built it.
