What’s in a name?
Have you ever wondered what a meandering river signifies? It signifies life which begins as a small spring at the top of a mountain and as it flows down the slope and crosses the plains it accumulates within itself a myriad of aquatic lives. On both the banks of the river farming activities happen and over the time, urban development takes place. To us, the runners, the running track is also like a river. We chose Nile, the world’s longest river, to symbolize the track because we too like to keep running without worrying about the distances covered. The running track gives a cacophony of life. With the runners, spectators, volunteers and sponsors doing their own bit on and outside the track, it is like a celebration on a different level. Nile Miles symbolizes the celebration called Life. Come be a part of it. Together we will make a journey to cherish forever.
