This World Cup I am very interested to see how Scaloni uses Messi. Messi is still in pretty good shape although not what he was 4 years ago. Age catches up to everyone. Will he play full matches or will the time be divided between him and Dybala? Will he play in his usual position or come down deeper and act more as a playmaker? What do you think? LA LIGA > ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

They have pushed the narrative that Messi played in a lower league (La Liga) compared to the Premier League. Meanwhile, this is a pure Lie, according to the UEFA Association Coefficient which ranks Leagues.

In fact, in the 21st Century (2000-2025), La Liga has been rated the number 1 League a record 16 times and the premier League 9 times. It's true that the English Premier League took over from 2020 but before then, La Liga dominated

Messi played from 2004-2021, and this means throughout his career (80%), he played in the hardest league in the world at the time. On the other hand, Ronaldo played in the Premier League when it was the second best league in the world (except about 3 seasons)

Note: Serie A dominated in the 1990s as the best league in the world. That EPL dominates now, doesn't mean others didn't have their own era. Just note: La Liga by far has dominated the 21st Century 16/25. In fact their dominance started in the late 1990s.
