It is with profound grief, that we mourn the passing of Kathakali and Bharatanatyam artist Guru Sri Kalamandalam Venkitt who passed away last night at 9:30pm at Kolkata. He was a well-wisher of our dance school and also one of the Gurus of Smt Nimisha Narayanan, founding director, Nalini Arangam.
🌼The artist remains immortal through his art. 🌼
Forever remembered and forever missed.🙏🏼

🌼Examinations are only a part of the learning process in dance and not all.Yet they are a determining factor of one's presence of mind, managing oneself under pressure and stamina. It makes one realise whether learning an artform is worth or not considering the effort, time and money invested.🌿
🌼It takes years and years of discipline, dedication and determination (3 D's as I say) to reach one's goal. We might not get the intended result soon, but keep in mind that each and every bit of effort taken to improve oneself takes us closer to our goal. That bit of effort should be consistent enough to see fruitful results.🌿
🌼Giving up is easy (that's what majority do) but staying focussed for years together is what counts and very few have that tenacity to do so. Here, parents also play a very important role in inculpating virtues which would make the kids go on and on and on.🌿
