World cup is just 7 days away and as an Indian, one just can't resist reliving those golden memories of the last world cup. No one can forget those joyous moments:- Dhoni's winning six, Yuvi's victorious roar, tears of joy in the eyes of yuvi and bhajji, Sachin and Gary being lifted on the shoulders of young Indian players, Gambhir's satisfactory smile after playing a responsible knock and in the end Dhoni lifting the cup of life..

It was the world cup, which started with the 4 by Sehwag(in the 1st match against bangladesh) and ended with a 6 by Dhoni..India were hot favourites as they were playing on home soil, were no1 in tests, did well in South Africa just before that world cup and it was Sachin's last World cup..

This time the situation is bit different as India are currently out of form and considering the conditions down under, no one is really considering India as hot favourites..But then considering the format(q/f, semis, finals), any team which holds on to their nerves and plays substantially well in these 3 knock out games can win the world cup.Easier said than done though..Let the games begin and lets see whether Team India rises to the occasion or not..

5-0 whitewash of lankans..what a way to take the revenge for the loss in world t20 finals..In the past also india has won the 5 match series by the margin of 5-0 at home, but the teams were england(2008,2011) and nz(2010).

Lankans as we know were the best limited overs team of 2014 and the conditions were also favourable for them..so its really good achievement for Team india who is on the roll currently by winning 7 odi games in a row and 4th consecutive odi series..

Once again virat kohli has showed why he is regarded as one of the best in odis and this inning showed that he has the potential to be one of the all time greats of the game..he just needs to be consistent in overseas conditions..
