I am glad to inform you that RTA in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math jointly organized 1st Official event of World Taekwondo (WT) in India with support of World Taekwondo (WT) & GCS International, Seoul (Special Consultative Status – UN ECOSOC) in presence of Hon’ble Dr. Chung-won Choue, President of World Taekwondo (WT) where World famous World Taekwondo Demonstration Team performed 1st ever in India. Legendary Taekwondo Personality Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy received the most prestigious “World Taekwondo Plaque of Appreciation” from Hon’ble President of World Taekwondo for his contribution on 5th February 2020 in presence of National & International dignitaries. Grand Master Roy received Taekwondo Hall of Honor Award as a Pioneer of Taekwondo on 4th March 2023. Grand Master Roy is also the India President, World Professional Taekwondo Federation (WPTF), India Coordinator, World Police Taekwondo Federation, Regular Member, KUKKIWON World Taekwondo Leaders Forum, Secretary General of World Taekwondo Organisation (The Organisation of Taekwondo Living Legends & Legendary Taekwondo Pioneers) & India Representative, GCS International (UN ECOSOC Special Consultative Status).
