The State Sports Academy, Miao, vibrantly celebrated International Yoga Day on its campus today, bringing together sports enthusiasts, officials, and the local community to promote health, wellness, and unity. The event saw an overwhelming response, with a participation of over 200 enthusiastic individuals.
The celebration was graced by distinguished chief guests, including the Honorable MLA of Miao and the Honorable Member of Parliament (BJP). Both dignitaries actively participated in the mass Yoga session alongside the students, coaches, and staff, underscoring the vital role of physical and mental well-being in daily life.
Following the rejuvenating yoga session, the event shifted focus to a display of athletic precision. Three of the academy’s decorated, medalist archers put on a stellar archery demonstration, showcasing the high caliber of training and talent nurtured at the State Sports Academy. The exhibition was highly appreciated by the chief guests and the audience alike.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reinforcing the academy's commitment to fostering a holistic sports culture that integrates traditional wellness practices with elite athletic training.
