Subhangik Presents “Samaskara 2026”

An evocative confluence of tradition, memory, and movement, Samaskara 2026, the Annual Program of Subhangik Dance Company, will unfold as a rich tapestry of storytelling through dance. Along with the students of Subhangik, the evening will also feature distinguished guest performances by Ratnadarpana artists Kankana Singh and the students of Nartanangan, alongside the eminent Dr. Madhuri Majumdar with her Kuchipudi Kalamadhuri ensemble. The evening promises artistic brilliance across classical idioms, where rhythm meets emotion and discipline transforms into poetry. As the stage becomes a sacred space of reflection, the experience will leave the audience immersed in a lingering resonance long after the curtain falls.

Dance is not only about movements and expressions but also about "showing up"... Even with all the hurdles in life, even if your body or mind doesn't permit, you show up. You dance, you be there consistently..to adapt something completely into your system...

Dance is about commitment.
Dance is to not give up but to give in, to surrender.
