Rudra Performing Arts Centre Deepa Kartha is well-known danseuse who was trained Bharathanatyam under Smt Usha Menon, alumni of Kalakshetra.

Later she did her advanced studies in Bharathanatyam under eminent gurus like Prof N S Jayalakshmy and Late Smt Vijayalakshmy Krishnaswamy of Kalakshetra. She has secured various prizes in Kerala State Youthfestivals and MG University Youthfestivals during her college days. She was awarded Lakshmi Viswanathan Endowment prize for Abhinaya from Sri Krishna gana Sabha, Chennai. She learnt Mohiniyatto

m under Natyakalaratnam Kala Vijayan. She is a recipient of scholarship for advanced studies in Mohiniyattom from the Department of Culture, Govt of India. She learnt Kuchupudy from Kalamandalam Mohana Tulasi. Curreently she is also learning Kathak from Sri Tushar Bhatt, an acclaimed Kathak dancer.
