Birds of the World is a series of short documentaries featuring different species of birds from around the globe photographed by Shah Jahan.
Ashy-crowned Sparrow-lark is a small song bird mainly found in the South Asia. These birds normally prefers plains in open land with bare ground, grass and scrub. Ashy-crowned Sparrow-lark nests on the ground and both parent takes care of the chicks.
The males can be easily identified by their black and white patterns on the their face from the females. These birds are normally found in pairs or small groups.
