ctors Course. She then completed a Master’s Degree in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA Bangalore. She firmly believes that Yoga is the panacea for most of the modern day problems faced by mankind. She aims in bringing about holistic wellness through her yoga classes. Sindhu S. is a Registered Dietitian under the Indian Dietetic Association and brings to the table an experience of over 15 years in Nutrition and Dietetics. She holds a Master’s Degree in Food Service Management and Dietetics and is also a UGC-NET qualified professional. She has worked across various leading hospitals in South India including The Medical Trust Hospital (Kochi), Apollo Hospitals (Chennai), Baby Memorial Hospital (Calicut) and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Kochi), before co-finding NuYoga. She is also a familiar face in Malayalam Television as a Guest Speaker in various Health and Nutrition shows across different channels.

In 2026 let's focus on these 5 things- "MIND, DIET, WATER, YOGA, SLEEP"

Mind -for healthy mind do meditation, learn new things, increase your social interaction make new friends, do things for others where you yourself don't have any benefit ( selfless service - karma yoga)

Yoga - make it a routine in your life. 3 days in class, 2 or 3 days self practice at home. You do yoga for yourself not others, so don't wait for others( friends and family) start now. Don't procrastinate.

Water- water is life, females should drink 3 litres , males should drink 4 litres everyday.

Diet- take 20 minutes to eat a meal, when you feel like taking a second helping stop. Last meal of the day should be before 7 pm. After the 3 main meals - breakfast lunch and dinner walk for 15 mins to aid digestion reduce glucose spike, manage weight.

Sleep - sleep for 7 hours everyday. Body recovers during sleep. Go to bed between 10-11 pm and wake up between 5-6 am. If you have difficulty sleeping stop using phone or laptop 1 hour before going to sleep. Do nadishudhi and bhramari on your bed before sleeping.

Changes in these 5 aspects will bring about a big change in quality of life.
