🌿♟️ Chess Meets Nature! ♟️🌿
Celebrating World Environment Fortnight with a Unique Chess Initiative!
In a beautiful blend of environmental awareness and intellectual sport, Chess Crops Academy, under the aegis of District Chess Association, successfully organized a one-day free chess tournament on Sunday at Khel Bhavan, Kishanganj — sponsored by Arena Flower Nursery, Loharpatti, on the occasion of World Environment Fortnight. 🌍♻️
👧🏽 From the youngest participant, 3-year-old Lavanya Karmakar, to seasoned adult players, over 80 chess enthusiasts—both male and female—joined hands not only to compete but also to commit themselves to protecting our planet.
🏆 Winners in various categories included:
✨ Reyansh Raj Singh, Aastha Kumari, Dhanvi Karmakar, Ritwik Majumdar, Smt. Divya Karmakar, and Mukesh Kumar.
🌱 In a heartwarming gesture, every participant was awarded a trophy and a potted plant to promote environmental responsibility among young minds. The idea was to instill love for nature and the habit of nurturing plants alongside their chess skills!
👑 Chief Guest Mr. Ravi Mantri, owner of Arena Flower Nursery, emphasized the urgent need for environmental protection in the face of global warming. 🌡️
