The Annual General Body Meeting of the Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand took place on 20th July at Hotel Shivam Inn, Ramgarh.

Sensei Ranjeet Keshari from Dhanbad and Sensei Hejaz Asdaque from Khunti were unanimously elected Vice President and General Secretary, respectively.

Sensei Manas Sinha, President of: Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand was honoured by the Minister of Sports, Government of Jharkhand by awarding him the Guru Dronacharya Lifetime Achievement Award fir his contribution to Karate in Jharkhand.

The CISCE Zonal Karate Championship began today at Carmel School, Hazaribagh.

A 16 member Official Team from the Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand under the Chief Referee Sensei Hejaz Asdaque who is being assisted by Senior KIO Referees Sensei Narendra Sinha, Sensei Sanjay Sonkar, Sensei Sumit Kumar is conducting the above mentioned tournament with Sensei Uday Kumar, Treasurer: Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand as the Observer.

The Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand wishes all the participants for their best performance.

The JHARKHAND STATE CADET, JUNIOR, U21 & SENIOR Karate Championship concluded at the Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khelgaon.

The Gold Medalist Players will soon go through a TrainingCamp as they will participate in the forthcoming National Karate Tournament from the 8th-12th May 2024

Day 1 of the JHARKHAND STATE CADET, JUNIOR, U21 & SENIOR KARATE TOURNAMENT 2024 at Khelgaon.
Around 110 Players gathered on Day 1 for the Tournament.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sensei Manas Sinha, President & Sensei Hejaz Asdaque, Secretary of the SPORTS KARATE ASSOCIATION OF JHARKHAND.

Mr. Rahul Gandhi, who is a practitioner of Aikido himself, during his stay in Ramgarh met the members of the Ramgarh District Karate Association and trained with them.

Mr. Sanjay Sonkar, a National Referee under the banner of Sports Karate Association of Jharkhand along with 30 Karate practitioners was the head coordinator of the training program.

Exchange of thoughts and concepts on Karate, Aikido & Jujitsu were done.
Good to meet someone with the passion of Martial Arts.
