Let's reminisce about the outstanding moments from last month's General Championship Swimming event! It's time to celebrate the remarkable performances of our swimmers.

AZAD Hall emerged victorious with an exceptional performance, clinching 1st place with 6 golds and 4 silver medals, accumulating an impressive 52 points!
LBS Hall secured the runner-up position with an incredible haul of 4 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze medals, totaling 42 points!
RK Hall secured the second runner-up spot by securing a total of 1 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze medals, amassing 31 points.

Hard Desai from Azad Hall and Arka Hazra from RP Hall were honored with the Individual Champion Men's award for their outstanding performance, each winning 3 gold medals in individual events and setting 3 new meet records!
Priyansh Shrivastava, Captain of the water polo champions LLR hall won the Best water polo player award for his incredible all-rounded performance which saw his hall winning the General Championship Waterpolo.

Let's have a Flashback to the incredible moments! Let's celebrate the incredible performances of our women swimmers at the General Championship Swimming held last month.

SNIG takes the crown with a phenomenal performance, claiming 1st place with 5 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, tallying up an impressive 42 points!
SNVH and MT share the spotlight in 2nd place and 3rd place, each boasting 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals. SNVH racks up 25 points while MT secures 20 points, showcasing their incredible talent.
Pravalika Das was awarded the Individual Champion Women's award for her impressive performance of winning 3 gold medals in individual events and creating 2 new meet records!

The finals proved to be the most intense and dramatic match where both teams were supported by huge audiences in which LLR made a comeback at the last minute when they were 2 goals down. LLR emerged victorious over Azad in a nail biting affair, clinching the title with a thrilling 4-2 victory in penalties after an intense 10-10 draw in normal time.

Meanwhile, RP secured third position by defeating Nehru with a commanding 9-4 win .

Congratulations .iitkgp for their podium finishes in General Championship Aquatics Waterpolo 2023-2024.

Azad and LLR delivered phenomenal performances in the semifinals, triumphing over their opponents with commanding leads of 12 and 14 goals respectively! Azad and LLR's wins in the semifinals were nothing short of spectacular, marked with absolute dominance.

Get ready for the ultimate showdown on 18th March at 8 PM in the Technology Swimming Pool as the finals promise to be a clash of titans, with Azad and LLR vying for gold!

Before the highly anticipated finals, don't miss the thrilling 3rd position match on 18th March at 7 PM, where two formidable teams will battle it out for a podium finish.

Thank you to all the teams for their incredible performances and dedication throughout the stages of the competition. Now, get ready to witness the intensity escalate as we move forward to the Semifinals!

Semifinal 1: Azad vs RP 14th March 7:00 PM

Semifinal 2: LLR vs Nehru 14th March 8:00 PM.

Day 2 of the Inter-Hall General Championship Aquatics has concluded with an electrifying fervor, leaving participants and spectators alike enveloped in a whirlwind of excitement.
The results are:

Match 1: LBS 5 - MMM 1.
LBS secured a solid 5-1 win over MMM, asserting their prowess in the pool.

Match 2: Patel 1 - Azad 7.
Despite a valiant effort from Patel, Azad emerged triumphant with a commanding 7-1 victory, highlighting their strength in the pool.

Match 3: LLR 2 - RK 2 (on penalties: LLR 4 - RK 3)
In a match of immense significance for both teams, LLR staged a noteworthy comeback against RK in a closely contested battle. With the score deadlocked at 2-2, the match entered a tense penalty shootout, adding to the drama. LLR displayed remarkable composure to clinch a narrow 4-3 victory in the Sudden death situation in penalties.

Match 4: Nehru 2 - RP 2 (on penalties: Nehru 1- RP 3)
In a remarkable display of consistency, RP secured another victory in penalties, this time against Nehru with a score of 3-1, after a hard-fought 2-2 draw.

What an exceptional day of water polo! Best wishes to all as the excitement builds for the upcoming matches starting from 6:30 PM at the Technology Swimming Pool, where the race for the Semi-Finals reaches its climax!

The results are:

Match 1: Nehru 2 - LBS 1.
The match between Nehru and LBS was a nail-biting affair, with Nehru emerging victorious in a thrilling finish.

Match 2: LLR 8 - Patel 0.
LLR displayed an impressive and dominant performance, securing victory with a remarkable tally of 8 goals in the match.

Match 3: Azad 11 - RK 2
Azad showcased their prowess with an emphatic 11-2 victory over RK, leaving no doubt about their dominance.

Match 4: RP 2 - MMM 2 ( on penalties: RP 1- MMM 0)
In a fiercely contested match, RP and MMM ended their encounter deadlocked at 2-2, but it was RP who held their nerve in the penalty shootout, clinching victory with a tense 1-0 scoreline, showcasing their resilience under pressure.
