What a day it was at Slobber Knocker-II. The league format witnessed some healthy competition with 08 teams qualifying for the knock-out stage which will be played tomorrow afternoon at TKR-FC arena.

As predicted, The defending champions of Slobber-Knocker have qualified along with previous runners up.
The schedule for tomorrow is as below;

2.State Football Academy J&K, Kathua vs Warriors of D.S.Heritage Scholars School

In what could be called as the “Battle of the Coaches” the teams of F**K and APS Janglot secured easy victories over their opponents. The experience of the Coach “Kaancha” was clearly visible in the gameplay of both the teams.

The teams will clash in the Finals to fight for the place in Tahsil winners tournament.

Day 2 Scoreline.

2. APS Janglot bt K.V.School. 16-0

Ex-Finance minister of state Sh. Jeetendra Singh alias Babu Singh Ji presided the inaugural ceremony at Kathua stadium. Among other dignitaries were the SSP(Police Training), DySP(Police), District Sports Officer Sh. Rajesh Sharma, DFA Secretary Sh. Ajay Sharma and veteran footballer Sh. Rakesh Sharma.

In Group A match, the young boys of APS Janglot tributed their Coach Rajendra by thrashing the young K.V. boys with 16 goals. The school boys will next play against F**K in tomorrow’s evening game.

Earlier in the day, in the group B encounter The D.S.Heritge school boys secured an easy victory over Govt. High Sec. Nagri, Parole by scoring dozen goals. Nitin remained high scorer with 7 goals to his kitty.

In Group A, The Football club United Kathua proved its dominance in the game by thrashing the young K.V. boys with 18 goals. The club will next play against APS Janglote on 18th.

Earlier in the day, in the group B encounter The Kathua Rebels secured a victory over boys of D.S.Heritge school.
