After her pregnancy, “I was 105 Kg and ‘frumpy,'” she says. Shruthi felt discouraged, but relied on a personal mantra to get back into the gym. “I can do anything for one minute,” she told herself before stepping on the treadmill or walking over to the weights area. Soon, she was up to advanced strength-training circuits.

A desire to become a fit mom – not just a skinny one – was her driving force. Within six months, she lost 13 Kgs, reduced her body fat and increased her strength. She stuck with a clean diet, and fell in love with Power lifting. She initially began with 10 Kg of Dead lift and Rack Pull while currently she manages to lift 110 Kg and 150 Kg respectively.

In her closet, she keeps the 7XL maternity pants (“the largest pair of pants She has ever worn!”) to remind her of how far she’s come. With a stronger body and mind, she’s become a happier mom.

• Interact with every member who comes into the fitness center.
• Assist members in the proper usage of fitness equipment.
• Ensure a safe workout environment through constant circulation on floor.
• Be available to set up any user on any piece of equipment or weight machine and properly provide spots to users.
• Keep the fitness floor clean and make sure all weights are in their proper place.
• Assist supervisors in making sure weight, benches and machines remain in the proper location.
• Enforce all club policies and procedures to all users.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and training.
• Communicate effectively within team.
