FASC Kapurthala initiated soil sampling campaign for the season Kharif 2019 in collaboration with KRIBHCO team in the village Bhano Langa block Sultanpur Lodhi. Dr Pardeep Kumar DES (SM) shared his views on " Balanced fertilisation for sustained productivity and soil health " with farmers.

A field day on PAU recommended Agro machinery and agro exhibitions of paddy residue management and wheat quality enhancement was organised by FASC Kapurthala at village Barindpur on dated 25.2.19. An august gathering of farmers listened to the views of PAU scientists with rapt attention. Potassium nitrate fertilizer was given free of cost for foliar spray on wheat for grain quality enhancement. Five progressive farmers were honoured with momentos for not burning paddy straw and adoption of Good Agril Practices recommended by PAU, Ludhiana.

Nationally renowned seed grower Paramjit Chandi (producer of vegetable seeds of chilli and onion) visited Farm Advisory Service Centre, Kapurthala and discussed various aspects of Hybrid seed production in vegetables in agreement with PAU, Ludhiana.
